| Inazuma is a Walter Sorrels Custom .It was modeled after a Nambokucho era Blade , the picture below was taken by Walter in rough polish blade specs 1075 mono steel, 30 inch Nagasa , 11 inch Nakago , 3 1/2 inch O Kissaki high , Shinogi.The second picture is after I reprofiled the Nakago and is in first polish stages. | Picture of Blade Smith Walter Sorrels test cutting Inazuma on green Bamboo , he told me 30 - 40 cuts where done and the blade was still shaving sharp " quote " ( cut a bunch of 2 1/2 - 3 inch bamboo like they where match sticks ) , I can confirm how sharp this blade is , it has cut me a few times already from just holding it to polish : ) truly the sharpest blade I have ever worked on to date . |
