Welcome to the MvC Special Partners page!Here I will cover everything there is to know about special partners (helpers) in Marvel vs. Capcom. Special Partners/helpers or as Capcom calls them "Guest Characters" are those who you can call on for an assist attack during the match. In regular Battle mode, you have infinite use of these helper characters and you can select which one you want to use for each match unless you press start during the end of a match in Battle mode for a shortcut to the next opponent. In Cross Over Mode however, you have a limited use of these and I will show many times each specific helper character can be used. I also forgot to tell ya something, in Cross Over mode you do have to perform the code to select a specific helper character just like in the arcade and Dreamcast version of the game which would be holding the start button and holding a certain attack buttons after selecting your support character.Enjoy!!!
