Welcome to the Seattle Central Community College Tradtional Japanese Karate-Do Club. This page will be utilized to inform all SCCC Traditional Japanese Karate-Do Club members about any changes, events, or updates for the club. Statement of purpose and practice

To provide training in traditional Japanese/Okinawan karate-do. Emphasis will be placed on kihon (basics), kata (forms), and kumite (sparring).

Mission Statement

To educate and train in Traditional Japanese Karate-Do. To help bring balance to one's life by building a strong mind and body and fostering a resilient spirit. To develop a sense of self-respect for oneself and respect for others.

Practice Times and Location

1:30 PM - 3:00 PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays in the SAC Squash Ball Courts.

Classes taught by Sensei Carlos Aviado, Shodan (1st degree black belt, GKK approved, 1st degree black belt (probationary) shodan-ho, Japan Karatedo Hayashi-Ha Shito-Ryu Kai).
