and are now: Lee Hee Jin, Yoon Eun Hae, Kan Miyoun, Kim Ez and Sim Eun Jin. In
1997, the "original" Baby VOX had five females as well, which debuted with the song
"Haircuts". This debut was disappointing; it only reached up to #47 on the big pop charts.
Beacuse of the poor sales, Lee Hee Jin and Kim Ez were the only VOXes that remained,
while the other three were replaced by Kan Miyoun, Sim Eun Jin and Lee Gai. These three
new dancers were more lively, and together with their new "appeal", Baby VOX 2's song
"Change" reached as high as #7 on the pop charts. Soon, however, Yoon Eun Hae
replaced Lee Gai, who didnt really mesh well with the other girls. The Baby VOX now
began that fateful day.
With a new, more mature image, Baby VOX released "Get Up" in 1999, which not
surprisingly reached the top of Korean pop charts. That same year Baby VOX also
debuted in China. With their fourth album, thier millenium one, "Why", their popularity
once again sky-rocketed; soon, they were in the same pool as S.E.S and finKL.
The "VOXes", not only young and beautiful, are also creative and thrilling dancers. Their
styles and images are noticed by fans all over their music scene. Besides their style, they
are trying to understand the essence of a true musician, often practicing song and lyric
writing. They have enhanced their skills, and before you know it, they'll do anything!
