A Moral Imperative?

To clarify Murder and Indefinite Detention/Torture as immoral, inexcusable and unjustified, let alone unconstitutional — the “Kill List” represents those.  Without Due Process, the targeting, capturing, killing and/or indefinite detention.  It doesn’t matter whether “approval” goes through Congress, especially as Congress has been made irrelevant with all of the executive powers that are not supposed to exist, but are explored throughout all blindspots of the press and the public, and are tolerated by the other irresponsible powers.  It is unconstitutional, immoral and unjustified.

The Bush Administration was Disneyland compared to what exists today.
Need I repeat that the Patriot Act, and all of the other eggregious legislation has not been removed but made permanent, with more deplorable laws added on top.  Even though my vocabularly is a bit weak — and believe it or not, I don’t use a Thesaurus — ‘deplorable’ isn’t a strong enough word.

The responsibility pandemic

Too few in the concentrated power take responsibility and stand for what is right today.  When do the ends justify the means?  Only if the means comply with the founding documents — the point of individual liberty, where all are guaranteed certain inalienable rights, and that only in violation of those rights upon others can some of those be suspended not revoked.  There is no justification for indefinite detention by anyone, and murder is universally wrong.  Educate yourself (yes, that is a call for self-education), and make it easier to know what the solutions are to any problem, instead of making it someone else’s problem.  People that do not care for their own rights, as by default the same as any other’s, are irresponsible, and need to be “kicked in the ass”...and in many ways, currently are being kicked.

Truth is not a popularity contest

Beyond corrupt, insane: to head away from accuracy.
Those that do what they can to head toward accuracy on any subject (and still rest when needed) are not insane.  Those that put up barriers, and attribute the quality of the information to only the names, after the misunderstanding of those names (to not adequately interpret the meaning of any of the above) is insane.  Truth is by itself, and cannot be disproven.  It is the essence of honesty, comes from the origin, and yet it can be told incorrectly.  The imperfect-but-honest person can get the results wrong at that time, and only can be wrong the next time with no change whatsoever or less honesty.  The only way in which fact can be supported by popularity is in the support of other facts — not opinion, not any “court of opinion,” and certainly not a poll.

If truth was a popularity contest, people would still be taught that the world was flat.  And, unfortunately, that is where we’ve come to, that is why we are here, and it never really stopped.  We have all sorts of strains of pseudo-science.  Global Warming is theory, not fact, and Darwinism is an ism, a doctrine, a system of belief, certainly not fact.  Did Darwin come up with the observable fact that is natural selection?  No.  Did Al Gore come up with any of the theories he indoctrinates students on?  No.

Not for the same reasons, but...
I guess Keith Olbermann was, in part, right when he declared the nation a dictatorship...many months ago.  Will he, or any other person with a similar message — even though the left has made it about the military or Super-PACs, as opposed to the near-absolute corruption in the media — be consistent, as things have only gotten worse?  Will the belief in money get in the way of any kind of critical thought, especially as critical thinking is no longer taught in schools?  Will any of this translate through the corruption in the language, that I can’t speak plainly without this being excused and ignored as political, religious, etc. dribble instead of read for the truth’s sake?  And I can’t help but think the emphasis will turn too many people off, even though what is going on is serious.

Regardless of offense, intentions rule

The truth can be found in anything; it is only a matter of interpretation, and being solid (self-checking), “sifting through the...”  Total avoidance without reason of redundancy or uncontrollable distance is wrong.

If you are corrupt, please self-correct, and try again.
Hell is not everlasting damnation.  It entails the hellfire of scrutiny, to remove lies.  There is only the pain (if the methods are imperfect on dealing with this) of facing the lies around when you are honest.  The actual state of incorruptibility is painless, so why would you want to add pain?
