| What can I say about my best friend in the Universe? A lot, actually, and most of it unprintable. We know each other's deepest, darkest secrets. Don't ask, because we're not telling. Ever meet that one person you just KNEW understood you and accepted you for who you are? It doesn't necessarily have to be the person you spend the rest of your life with. She's my soul mate, which we understood ever since the day we met waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in 1989 when I sat down on the bus next to her and just started talking. I had no clue who she was, but she seemed interesting. She knew who I was and what a big dork I was. So, we bonded in our outcastedness. I learned what a ragbag was, how to wear a bandana, how to use a butterfly knife (all this on the Bus to Rednecksville, mind you), how to talk to someone in a threatening manner and how to stand up for myself. EXTRA! ~~ So, after years of schooling (which she despised until she started studying something she cared about), she is about to graduate PRE-VET from Northern Arizona University. She's applying to Ross University in the Lesser Antilles for vet school in the fall. I'm so proud I can't stand it. more to come! |
