LETTER #1

Oh my condiment friend, it would make as happy as
Shri Radha Herself to sit perched at your feet and listen to your melodious voice.  My heart will reach ecstacy as you enlighten us with your very very heavenly sangeet (song).  I will feel as fresh as a golden fawn emerging from its mother's belly.

Maybe some of our other very very good friends would be willing join us for an evening of bliss and wonder, no? Indeed, they should not let one watch one sing by oneself, even one time, no?

Your most enraptured devotee,
Ravi
PS: Oh you silly sandwich spread, why do you not still realize that the true way to spell it is not "deci" as in "decimeter" but "
desi" as in Arnaz?  Don't worry, you are still my very very good friend, even if you cannot spell the words worth two paise (cents).
LETTER #2

O my friend!

I am so very, very sorry that I could not make it to your
sangeet yesterday evening.  I drank too much nectar of the gods on Saturday night and was very, very tired, and, how you say, nectared-out.  Then of course we did do a lot of Tai-ya-tai-ing, so I was utterly and completely and very, very exhausted.  Did you take the first prize, my friend?  I am so very, very sorry that I broke my vow, Lord Rama would be very, very wrathful with me.  But I am thinking of creating an evening programme in which you all come to my humble abode for dinner or dessert, and then we all go to the nightclubs for a very heavenly evening.

What do you say, my friends?    --Ravi
LETTER #3 (actually from Fabio)

That sounds like a -- how you say -- a "blast" ... my very, very good friend.  MOTS was well-provisioned with many friends and acquaintances last evening, although your presence was indeed still missed as sorely as a
bharatanatyam dancer's heel, and he performed very very well ... the song was sweetness to the ears of the crowd, and the dancing gyrations were immensely pleasurable.

Your idea, as I said, is very appealing.  If I am to attend, I should recall to your memory that it is possible that I will be taking to the air at the beginning of the pleasant month of June, but if your festivities occur before that time, I will be certain to come.  (But only if we can be assured of hearing music by our very very good friend Ravi Shankar -- oh, we miss him so!...)

Have a very very lovely, melodious day    --Fabio
