| During a vacation in Scotland in 1998, I visited the Glenfiddich distillery near Tomintoul. At the culmination of the distillery tour they offered free samples of their single malt whiskey. One taste was all it took to get me hooked on this most wonderful elixir. In the years since then I have expanded my knowledge of Scotch Whiskeys and tried many wonderful varieties of single malt and blended whiskeys.
