Jane heard a light knocking on her front door. She got up from the couch, walked over and pulled it open. Daria stood on the other side, her hand wrapped around the strap of her backpack.
Ah! Good, youre here. Jane said and stepped aside so Daria could enter. What took you so long? Jane asked her friend.
I had to calm Quinn down because the twenty dollar lipstick she just bought doesnt, in fact, match her shoes. Daria deadpanned.
Sorry I asked. Jane smirked. So, what are we gonna do tonight? Daria just shrugged. Jane knew exactly how to perk her up, Trent is playing tonight, wanna go watch? She said and smiled because she knew instantly the answer.
Tonight? Uhnowellumsure, ok whatever. She pretended to hide her excitement but failed to be successful.
You sure about that? Jane chuckled.
Whatever Daria shrugged and went back to her quiet, sad state, but stole a glance at Jane to see if she was watching. She was.
Later that night at the club, Daria stared up at Trent playing his guitar and singing. His voice was magic and made her head light and dreamy. Everything about him turned her on. The way his lips moved when he sang, the motion of his arm striking the weary strings of his guitar. Even how his clothes shifted about him, only because it made her think about what was under them. She suddenly realized that he was looking at her. Their eyes met and locked, the corner of his mouth crawled up his cheek. He cocked an eyebrow and winked at her then broke the stare, looked elsewhere in the raving crowd and sang his heart out. Her spine felt numb and she felt outside herself. How can the smallest expression make me feel so good, she thought. She became oblivious to sound and feeling, even the mosh pit around her, and just stared up at that stage. Her chest filled with a wondrous heaviness, but it was soon replaced with pain, a yearning. She wanted him so bad. Hearing her name she slowly with drawled from her trance to find that it was Jane calling her from the bar. Daria blinked several times and looked over at her friend. She realized that the band had finished playing and were packing up, she didnt even notice because of her previous euphoric revere.
You OK? Jane asked, a little worried.
Uh, yeah. Just tired Daria replied, her voice still far away.
Well you ready to go? Lets load up in the tank
Sure. She seemed distant to Jane. Oh well, she thought and they exited the club.
On the ride home Daria watched Trent drive from the middle seat. Her eyes molested his every curve, every hair and every flash of skin that moved if he did. The curve of his eyelash, the corner of his mouth, how his earrings perched so well on his ear was all fascinating to her. The overwhelming want came back in her chest then settled at the bottom of her heart, lingering with pain. She looked at the rear view mirror searching for his eyes and soon found them. Her breath caught in her throat as a car passed and the light from its headlights washed over his face catching his eyes, lighting them up and making them sparkle, then the brilliance gone in an instant. She then found he was looking at her too, again. Embarrassed, she turned away.
Trent drove carefully, for he was tired and didnt want to suddenly fall asleep. All at once he felt eyes on him. He glanced up at the rear view mirror and caught Darias eyes on him for the second time that night, and felt a small twitch in his chest. He starred back at those amber eyes. How he loved those eyes, magnified by her glasses. They were a cage for him but he didnt mind being locked inside. He remembered the feeling he got earlier when they starred at each other. He could barely play, for he had forgotten everything when he looked at her, the notes, playing and singing all together became foreign to him when he looked at her. She consumed his entire mind, thought and memory. He winked at her again, through pure habit and managed to force his eyes back to the road before he created an accident, but caught her turning her head away quickly. He chuckled on account of her shyness. How he loved those bright eyes. He could still see them even though he was looking at a dark, cold, empty road. He wanted so bad to reach back and touch her knee, or thigh but he forced his hand to stay on the wheel, so hard his knuckles turned white. He needed her.
Later that night, back at Lanes, the girls were in Janes room. Jane was watching Sick Sad World while Daria slipped on her oversized, orange t-shirt that served as pajamas. She gathered her toothbrush and toothpaste and headed towards the bathroom. Opening the door she found Trent to be on the other side already brushing his teeth. She tried to sneak away but he spotted her and gave and awkward smile on account of the toothbrush in his mouth. Shit, was all she could think.
Cmon in. he said through all the toothpaste which made his voice muffled. She giggled inside herself at how cute he looked.
OK was all she managed to say and slowly stepped into the bathroom. She suddenly felt embarrassed standing there in her pajamas and not wearing a bra made her feel self-conscious and uncomfortable. She hid behind her arms the best she could. She didnt want him to watch her brush her teeth either, so she waited until he was done. She found that even when he was brushing his teeth he was damn sexy. Trent was bent over the sink with his hand wrapped around the COLD knob. The image before her made her feel as though she would jump right out of her skin. She found it hard to stand there and breathing became a chore. Her eye followed the arc of his back, the round of his butt, lingered, and then finally down his unfortunately covered legs before coming back up to his face. He was finally done and used his hand to scoop water into his mouth from the faucet. How she longed to be that water. He shook his hands then dried them and his mouth and said, There ya go. Its all yours. As he walked passed he gently but firmly placed a hand on her shoulder. He felt the lightning tremble at his fingertips then tear through his arm. Gnight Daria, was all he was able to say. Kiss her, kiss her, his mind was screaming but he just smiled, turned and walked out. He could still feel her small shoulder in his hand, and absently, he kissed his palm.
Daria stood in the bathroom paralyzed. She could still feel his hand on her shoulder and reached up to touch it, wishing it was his hand she could be holding. She shook herself out of her revere and brushed her teeth.
Lying on the dark floor, cuddled in blankets and her oversized nightshirt, Daria listened to Janes light snores. She couldnt sleep again, her thoughts invaded by Trent. She hated sleeping over at Janes sometimes because Trent was so close to her and she couldnt stop thinking about the times he winked at her and when he touched her shoulder. She shifted uncomfortably, wishing she had more cushioning. I could just through Jane out of bed, she though maliciously but then dismissed the idea. She concentrated on sleep and getting Trent out of her mind and was soon nodding off when she heard a light knock on the door. Her eyes snapped open and squinted at the clock, for lack of her glasses, and tried to force the numbers clear. She made it out to be three or something around there. She thought about just lying there and pretend to be asleep so the intruder would go away but then it occurred to her, what if it was Trent? It probably wasnt, yet, maybe She dragged herself out of bed and padded over to the door.
Trent lie awake in his bed thinking about Daria and what he wanted to do besides wink at her. He pictured them in his bed and all the things they could be doing. He wasnt surprised when he reached down and felt the slight bulge in his boxers. He sighed and wished she were next to him. She was, only a few doors down. The thought was tormenting and it ripped through his heart. Most of all he just wanted her to love him. Someone to finally love him back, like he loved her. He wanted to wake up to those eyes every morning. They would be his morning light. Running his fingers through her hair at any given moment a reward. He needed to do something about his delayed confession. He needed to talk to her, right now. He gathered his courage and stood up, but soon realized that it was late. He glanced at the clock, three-in-the-morning late. His ambition was soon dashed. He wondered if she would even be up at three. What if she was? What if Jane was too? He didnt care, he just needed Daria, now.
Daria wrapped her fingers around the cold doorknob, turned it and opened the door. She squinted to see who it was and realized that she was face to face with Trent. She stumbled backwards and flushed. Uh, what are you doing up? she asked, though she really didnt care why, she was just glad he was there.
I...uhcouldnt sleep Trent lied. His voice crawled up Darias spine and settled at her neck, tickling and trembling. He strained to see her form in the dark room but only managed to make out her outline. He wanted to take her hand and lead her to his room but he knew he couldnt. He had to think of something quick and just stumbled and stammered through his words. I thought maybe one of you was upI guess I was right, he said, the excitement building up in his stomach. He was so glad she was up. He threw her his goofy expression that he knew made her melt. He cocked an eyebrow and cracked a half smile. He heard her sigh a little. Sodo you wanna talkor something? Of course she did. She could listen to his voice for an eternity and she would be satisfied, not needing anything else in the world. His voice was like sugar and she had a sweet tooth.
Sure, was all she could think of to say. He had that effect on her, always rendering her speechless. Jane moaned in her sleep and slurred something about a rabbit that made both Trent and Daria snicker. Not here he said abruptly. Can we talk in my room? he asked and nodded his head towards his bedroom. Her thoughts raced. She was suddenly worried about what she looked like, so she smoothed her hair quick and tried the best to collect herself. Questions raced: What was going to happen? What did I want to happen? If it does will I let it happen? Her head was in such a spinning blur that she just nodded and whispered, OK.
Good. Trent was overjoyed, but he fell into panic. He didnt plan it form here. What was going to happen? What will she want to happen? Will she let it happen? Daria hesitated as if still not sure the event was happening, slowly stepped past the doorframe, shut the door behind her, and followed Trents dark shadow through the hall. She saw that he was only in his boxers and she felt faint. She could smell him in the breeze that his body, oh god his body, made as he passed through the air. It was a warm and sleepy smell that intoxicated her senses making her feel drunk. She wanted to reach out and touch him and would have if she hadnt forced her hand back to her side.
He opened the door to his room and nodded her in. She sat herself on the bed and instantly she pictured herself within the sheets making wild love to Trent. She dismissed this thought at once and blocked out all thinking and returned to reality, the reality of actually being in his room. Trent took a seat next to herRIGHT next to her. Not knowing what to do, she just leaned back to rest on her palms and her elbow brushed his.
Sorry she whispered almost to quiet to be heard. She looked up at him and their eyes caught, and stuck for the third time. His eyes were so brown, almost black in the scarce light coming from the dust-covered lampshade. She could feel herself being drawn into those dark circular pools. She wanted to drown there.
He was lost in her eyes again. Those light, amber eyes that caught the light of his dull lamp and made them luminous. He tried desperately to search for the words to tell her his feelings without sounding like a dumb ass. He just wanted to kiss her. What would she do? When should I do it? That question was answered in the next instant. Daria opened her mouth to speak but he leaned forward into her, wrapped his long fingers around the back of her neck, pulling her head towards him. His lips roughly found hers and the sensation felt like a lightning bolt diving all the way down to his feet and leaping back up into his heart. Her lips were so soft and moist and sweet, he just wanted to engulf them all. He wanted to be in her mouth, to explore every part of it with his tongue. He felt her melt into him, so he thought it would be ok to continue.
Startled, she wanted to pull away, but then she melted into him. It was like magic. His fleshy lips wrapping around hers. His tongue was like a velvet snake darting around her hungry mouth. Every sensation in her mouth was fulfilled by his kiss and she wanted to be right in his skin. She tingled all over, especially within her thighs. She realized that his hand was on her thigh and hoped he wouldnt stop there.
With his other arm he cradled her back and slowly lowered her on to the bed, carefully resting her head on his pillow. He didnt break the kiss that was pouring ecstasy into her body, and his own. He finally broke away from her lips, but only to continue on her neck. He rapidly ate up her neck and ear while he tickled her thigh with his hand. Daria was breathing heavily and every once in a while she rewarded him with a low moan that made him ache for more contact.
All at once, she wasnt shy. Something came over her that just made all her modesty disappear. She wanted him so bad and now that it was finally happening she let nothing hold her back. She tugged at his boxers, her eyes hungry to see every part of his beautiful body. He smirked at her eagerness and he swiftly slid them off his hips and tossed them to the floor. Her hands were everywhere, she wanted to touch every inch of his flesh all at once and there was no where to start. He was also very hungry to see her body. She kept it hidden under those loose, baggy clothes and he was so curious to see what she kept a secret. He slid off her orange nightshirt and kissed her slightly protruding collarbone, one of his favorite parts. He raised his head to look at her breast. She didnt mind this at all to both of their surprise. She even asked You like them? They were small but perfect and he loved every inch of them. He could only nod because he lacked the faculty to speak. He started to slow things down a bit and lightly kissed the area around her nipple, teasing her making her giggle. Finally falling over a nipple, she twisted her fingers in his black, spiky hair. He loved her pleasure and loved it more that he was the one giving it to her.
He curled a finger around her underwear strap hugging her hip and slid them off of her willing legs. He moved to the other nipple and she arched under him, clutching his hair until it hurt, but he loved it. He slid his hand up her quivering thigh and touched her already wet core and indulged in every fold. She moaned hard and gripped his shoulders. He lifted his head up and kissed her while circling and then finally entering his middle finger into her. She arched again and her moan escaped into his throat. She rocked on his finger and writhed under him.
You like that? he whispered softly and seductively into her ear. She couldnt even speak so she just nodded her reply. He kissed her again and held there to muffle her sounds, though he loved them. She wanted to break free of his kiss and scream out her pleasure but she could only moan in his mouth.
Shhh, he whispered, youll wake Janey. She nodded and tried to stay as quiet as possible. Then, all at once, he was on top of her and slowly working himself into her. She needed to bite his shoulder to keep from crying out loud. She loved how he felt. She couldnt even believe this was happening but was drunk with passion.
They moved as one for what seemed like and eternity and neither one of them minding. He was electric with emotion and couldnt believe it was Daria under him. She was beyond any dream and felt outside herself again. Trent felt a wave of love wash over him and he cradled the side of her face in his gentle hand. He moved his head close to her so their foreheads were touching and looked into those amber beauties. She stared back at his chocolate eyes and lost her already scarce breath and words. He also struggled to breathe but gathered the air and gently whispered, I love you. She sighed and felt tears well in her eyes at the words she for so long wanted to hear from his lips finally come dripping out of his beautiful mouth with his beautiful voice. She was about to say it back when and earthquake shook her thighs. She suddenly lost all control of self and reality. She screamed out and gripped his back. Trent tried to cover her mouth with a kiss but he was cumming too. He soon collapsed on her belly and she held him close to her while he trembled and panted. Then, very softly, he heard her whisper back, I love you too, and he smiled then they both fell into sleep, there hearts and bodies satisfied.
