DIY Jeans Workshop!!!
Thirty nine attended the Do It Yourself Jeans Decorating Workshop
held April 3-7, 2006, which was also National Library Week.
Patrons enjoyed getting a new pair of jeans. Everyone
enjoyed getting to design their own personalized jeans.
Men, women, boys and girls, everyone got into the act and
made the library a fun place to be for Spring Break!
We decorated approximately 50 pairs of jeans including some
to be auctioned off on e-Bay to raise money for future projects.
The jeans were donated by patrons, Morristown Housing Authority
Staff, and the Helping Hands Thrift Store.

Each MHA resident who participated in the DIY Jeans Workshop
got their name entered in the "Win a Pair of Jeans" drawing.
The drawing was held on the last day of the Workshop.

Emma D., a MHA resident, commented that her family really enjoyed
the workshop and would love to do more activities like this.
