HaT's Carthaginian War Elephants

Two Standard Bearers per box in mail armor and greaves (not that the greaves are mail, you understand, but...) with a, well, disk and a crescent on a spear. This apparently was the "national" Carthaginian standard.

The thing sticking out from the staff, just above the bearers head, is actually 'sposed to be a plume that should be sticking out from the bearers head! Some problems with the moulds apparently. (Actually, half his face is deformed as well - consider it battle damage!) What you can do is chop it off, and perhaps stick it onto his helmet yourself.

Although you get 6 of these per box (one for each howdah), you could always place them with, say, the Cart Heavy Spearmen (ie foot figures, in amoungst a spear element, for instance), placing a Cart Heavy in the howdah in his stead.

Just keep in mind that, although these test shots have bases, the production runs don't. Just two little tags on the bottom of their feet to plug into the howdah. Still, it wouldn't be that hard to plonk 'em in plastacine on a base...'sbeen done before!
