You get 4 sprues in each box (@ $NZ 19.95 ea.!), two of each of the above sprues. Nice, many and varied poses...

GENERIC PIRATE

Based on a whole genre of novels and films. Stronghold: Stockade or anchored pirate ship.

 

Blade General (pirate captain) @ 2AP	1
Shooters (pirates with muskets) @ 2AP	2
Warband (pirates with mixed weapons) @ 2AP	6
Artillery (cannons landed from ship) @ 3AP	2

 

Alternatives: Hero General (dashing pirate captain) @ 4AP, Airboat (flying pirate ship) @ 3AP, Hordes (pirates with improvised weapons, womenfolk) @ 1AP, Water Lurkers (sharks or crocodiles) @ 1AP.

Hmmm, ok, so it looks like these figures might be short a few shooters...but there's lots of Warband, Hordes and Camp Element figures, even a canon, and I think I can see the makings of a nice Hero General element from the 'Commandy' type figures on the top sprue! Add an element of Shark Fins (Water Lurkers), and you've got the makings of a very colourful army!
