Can A Creture Without A Soul Be Capable Of Love?
Drusilla's Love
Drusilla's first love was William the Bloody, so nicknamed for his bloody
awful poetry. She was his sire, turning him around 1880. Angelus was the vampire Drusilla craved attention off, he was her sire.
Drusilla, William, Angelus and Darla travelled Europe together throughout the next century, but
split when Angelus' soul was restored by the Gypsies, whose prized dauger
was killed by Angelus.
After this, Drusilla and Spike, a nickname he earned for his fondness of
torturing victims with railroad spikes, continued to travel together,
creating havoc and murder wherever they ventured.
Following Drusilla's near-death experience in Prague, Spike took her to
Sunnydale where they attempted, many times, to kill the Slayer.
Spike and Dru's love was one based on his devotion to her, which nutured
Drusilla's need for attention. Here in Sunnydale, Drusilla met Angel again
and was extremely happy to see him, calling him "My Angel". Not long after
their intial meeting, Angel lost his soul through a moment of perfect
happiness, during a night of passion with Buffy. He became Angelus once more
and joined Spike and Drusilla, hoping to kill Buffy and destroy the world.
Spike became very jealous of Drusilla's affection towards Angelus, as he was
the one she was supposed to love.
Spike formed an alliance with Buffy (the Slayer) in order to win Drusilla
back off Angelus. Spike kidnapped Drusilla and took her away, while Angelus
was killed by Buffy.
When Drusilla was caught having an affair with the Chaos demon, she accused
Spike of going soft and left him to venture out into the world on her own.
