History: When Pietro Maximoff's mother fled from Magneto, he and his sister were given to
the care of Bova of Wundagore Mountain. Bova gave them to adoption. The twins were
recruited by Magneto to join the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, not knowing that they were
his children. They served the team for a while but left and joined the Avengers. Later, he
married Crystal. Both of them became members of the Avengers until they were apparently
killed during Onslaught. He became a member of Magneto's ruling council when the latter
took over Genosha.
