History: Ororo Munroe's parents were killed in a bombing in Cairo. She was trapped in a pile of rubble and gave her claustrophobia. She was raised by Achmed el-Gibar, a master thief. When she was twelve, she traveled to her mother's homeland, the Serengeti Plains. There, she was worshipped as a goddess. She was finally recruited by Professor Xavier to become a member of the X-Men. She temporary lost her powers in an accident caused by Forge, but regained it before the battle with the Adversary. She has served as the co-leader of the X-Men since.

History: Strobe was a member of the Mutant Liberation Front. Her whereabouts after Stryfe's defeat is unknown.

History: Stryfe was a clone of Cable created by Apocalypse to be his heir. He traveled to the past in pursuit of Cable and caused the X-Cutioner's Song. He later returned but committed suicide.

He was later briefly joined the new Alpha Flight. He became a member of the Mumbai division of X-Corporation.
