In the 13th year of Young-lo (1415) this country sent ambassadors to come to the audience. As tribute they offer a K'i-lin (giraffe) and other objects. Has in a long list of Ming tribute countries; .............. Melinde; Tribute embassy 1414 ............ Lasa; Young-lo period Barawa; Young-lo period Mogadishu; Young-lo period ........... Note; the three last countries are in the list mentioned one after the other. And the same list also appears in the Wan-li hui-tien 1587 |
