The Army of Light has gathered at Babylon 5 in all its multitude, and the battle of Corianna VI draws nearer and nearer. But before that battle begins, William and a small squadron of Army of Light ships are sent to give aid to a Ranger and his crew. The crew of a ship named White Star 14.

Even on this dark day, a day that will later be filled with light, the Rimstalker and all who follow him still have a part to play...
While the Corianni themselves watch on, fearing for their very lives.

Bethany Tikopai and her fleet of rebel starships pay a surprise visit to Babylon 5, while Bethany herself finds her daughter...and is shocked by what she sees. Meanwhile, William and the White Star Fleet investigate both a Vorlon observation post, and also the ruins of a dead world.

It doesn't take long for William to figure out that Brianna has disappeared...and even less time for word to reach him of her present location...on Mars, in the hands of the Psi Corps. At the same time as this is going on, Julia receives an invitation from Draal to come down to Epsilon 3, while on Mars, Brianna figures out who the controlling hand behind her capture was...

William goes to Mars to try and rescue Brianna...not knowing that he is walking straight into a trap set by Mr. Bester, who wants Brianna for the Psi Corps...and no one else. Meanwhile, down on Epsilon 3, Julia receives a message that has been waiting for her for a thousand years...

After learning some of what Bester really did to him on Nighthawk, almost 3 years before, William and the rest are allowed to escape...with certain conditions, and leave Earthspace with the aid of a rebel Earthforce cruiser captain and his crew. Meanwhile, Julia convinces Jennifer to let her go to Minbar, so she can find something that is waiting for her, beneath the city of Tuzanor...

"The Long March"
President Clark has finally gone too far, and in response, Captain Sheridan has taken most of the White Star Fleet to Proxima III...and as always, William and Jennifer are fated to walk in his footsteps. Meanwhile, out at Flinn Colony, Captain Tikopai and her Rebel forces arrive to liberate that world, but that action will not come easy, *or* without price...

The march towards Earth continues...even as Bethany faces an old friend in a test of persausion and strength...even as William and Jennifer walk through the hell of the battle with the advanced destroyer group...even as Julia faces up to her falsehoods with respect to her Entil'zha...the final battle is drawing near at hand!

William manages to track down his family, while Jennifer visits an old family friend. And in the end, the Rimstalker and his surviving comrades, young and old, lead the White Star Fleet through Geneva's skies, as the Interstellar Alliance comes into being...
