14 years of My Life

Where did I come from? What have I done in my life? Why am I here?

My Family

Family Mama Me Papa

Mother

She's my Mother, she gave birth to me and she is always there when I need her. She always wakes up early to help me prepare before I go to school and no matter what happens she always ensure my safety. I couldn't live without her.

Father

He's my Father, for early part of my childhood he was usually out to work so that we have something to eat but now he's retire and he just helps around the house whenever he can. He's the reason that I'm living a well sheltered life.

Me

Now, that's me, well at least it used to be, the photo is kind of out dated since it was taken when I was about 7 years old but that was the only photo that I had a soft copy of and we don't have a scanner so that'll do for now. If you want to know more about me. Read more below. :)

The Day of My Existence

It was 10 am in the morning and it was raining. That January 7, 1999 Elvie was not expecting to give birth to her first child me, Diana. I always hear my Mom saying that when I was born, I was so small that my size was the same size of a 1.5 Liter Coca-Cola bottle. They were very excited when I was born because I was their first child. They took care of me and I was a healthy baby. That's all I can tell about my life when I was a baby since I don't actually remember what I was doing when I was a baby. I only hear some stories from my parents but I don't remember them myself because it was from a long time ago.

Back Then, When I was young

Like every person I had my childhood though I don't remember much from it since it was from a long time ago, I still remember some important parts of it. If I remember it correctly I learned to walk when I was about 2 years old and I spent my childhood at our house in Concepcion. I also remember that my cousins often visited me back then, they used to play with me a lot. We would play hide and go seek and then sometimes we play with my toys. I remember that when I was about to turn 3 years old my Mom took me to her hometown which is a long travel, her hometown was at the far region of Masbate. Back then I still get nauseous when we traveled. After that I went to school when I was 4, I was still in kindergarten. My parents enrolled me to a school named St. Francis. There I learned a lot of things, that's where I learned how to write properly, how to sing the alphabet and I made lots of friends. That's pretty much my childhood, it's probably not that interesting but I'm sure I enjoyed my childhood although it's such a shame that I don't remember all of it. Childhood was the most carefree part of my life.

My Elem Days

Lots of things happened when I was an elementary student since I spent 6 years of my life there. But I'm going to share with you some important things that happened back then. Before I tell you anything else, I studied my whole elementary years at Sto. Nino Elementary School. When I was in first grade, I remember always running around chasing my classmates that were teasing me. I was still very young back then and everytime my classmate teased me, I get so annoyed easily and chase him around until I get back at him. Then when I was in second grade I had a new group of classmates since I was assigned to a different section but it wasn't really that hard. Come to think of it, I almost got assigned to a different section each year but adapting was never really my problem. Like any kid, I had some trouble too when I was in elementary though I can't remember exactly when, there was a time that my one classmate hated me. Though hate is such a strong word, so it's probably not the right term to use let's just use annoy. So she was really annoyed by me and I was really annoyed by her. We made it through, we talked when necessary but nothing more and nothing less. That's all I can remember importantly about my elementary days.

Here, Right Now

First Year

Now, let's talk about my high school life. So far I've only completed 2 years of it and a lot has happened already. I'll share some to you that mean much to me.When I was in first year the first day was probably the really awkward. Since we enrolled in the ESEP class we all came from different schools, that's why we were still shy to socialize with each other and like any first day at school, the teacher always asks students to introduce themselves in front. I remember that when I introduced myself I was still very shy but we all know that's usually the case when it's about the first day of school. As the days progressed we all became close, like sisters and brothers. I also remember that when it was Science Month we joined ALL of the contests. We joined, the jingle, quiz bee, spelling bee and our representative for the eco-fashion was Martina and Daniel. We all worked hard for their outfits, I remember that Martina's outfit was made of plastic and straws while Daniel's was made of CDs. Sadly Martina and Daniel and didn't win but that didn't matter because we all know that's how life is, there are always ups and downs. Our jingle on the other hand made it to the preliminaries but we didn't win the championship. Other appreciation months came, Nutrition Month, Values Month, Mathematics Month, English Month etc. I've told you about the contests we've joined, now let me tell about who we are as a class. Our section is named ESEP I-A since there are two sections of ESEP in our batch. I'll admit that our class is very noisy, I can probably say that I'm already immuned from the shouting that happends everyday. We don't actually shout when there is a teacher in front of us but we're still noisy, it may be a negative trait but it's one of the reasons why I love being and ESEP I-A student. We may make lots of noise most of the times but we always enjoy each others company. I can still remember the crazy love-teams we make just for fun. That's all I'll share to you for now since if I type all of the fun memories I had when I was in first year, it'll probably take forever.

Second Year

When I became a 2nd year high school student I still had the same classmates I had when I was in first year though there were some students who transfered school, that made us sad but we can't actually stop them if they really wanted to transfer. 2nd year was really critical for our class since this was the year wherein some of us would get eliminated if we don't meet the required average. This was the reason that we were on edge sometimes but that didn't get trid of our happy-go-lucky nature. This was one of the reason that our teachers lectured us that we don't take our classes seriously but we are who we are. Even if 2nd year was really critical for us, it was the most enjoyable too. Since we won lots of contests and we always bonded with each other. The most memorable appreciation month for me was when it was English Month. The contest that we joined was "Dramatic Reading" we worked so hard on that contest, I can still remember the times that we always had fun while doing the props and while the others practice. It was really memorable. The other reason why itw as so memorable is because we won! We won as champions! I think we cried and hug when we heard that announcement. It was really emotional for us because as a class, it was the first time we won as champions. The other reason why it was also emotional is because we knew that, even if next year we might not all be classmates again. At the very least we did something very memorable that we may never be able to forget for the rest of our lives. I may be exaggerating but in my heart that is what I feel.

Present

Now, I am currently in 3rd year high school, with my classmates, some are new and some are old classmates but another sure thing is there are new friends and hopefully new good memories. Now what I'm trying to say is that this isn't the end of my journey. Who knows? Maybe everything has only begun.
