as witnessed from the eye of an ant

an extending pink ship,
undulating on a sea of raindrops,
coming up from the muddy depths,
only to be plucked from the ocean by a beating cloud of feathers,
which flew its precious cargo away home
while another feathered creature pecked the muck to no avail
for it truly was the early bird which caught the worm.
