Meatballs
Ingredients to cook Meatballs
1 pound of ground meat
1 onion
1 egg
� cup of bread crumbs
1 tbsp of "Adobo"
1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
� cup of milk
1 tbsp of "Sofrito"
Procedure for cooking Meatballs:
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Divide mix into little balls of equal size, approximately 1" diameter
- Put meatballs spread apart on top of cooking sheet.
- Pre-heat oven to 350 �F.
- Put cooking sheet with meatballs on oven, and cook in oven
for approximately 15 minutes
- Remove cooking sheet from oven and turn off oven.
Ingredients to cook sauce
3 garlic cloves
1� onion
1� cup of tomato sauce
1� cup of Ketchup
2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp of cooking oil
1� tsp of lemon juice
Procedure to cook sauce:
- Put cooking oil in frying pan and turn heat to medium high.
- Peal garlic cloves and grind in Mortar.
- Cut onion into little squares, and place them in frying pan.
- Soften (Sautee) the onion in frying pan.
- Turn heat to low.
- Add grinded garlic.
- Add lemon juice, tomato sauce, Ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cook for 5-10 minutes and turn off stove.
Final Procedure:
- If you want, put meatballs in a Pyrex baking dish and pour sauce over them.
- The other option is to put the sauce in a cup, and let the people
dip the meatballs in the sauce.
