>>>Gil was once a human, the older brother of Barl and the uncle of Fiji. He was transformed into a demon by Kharl, sold to Nadil's army and treated like a slave by Shydeman and Fedelta. He grew spiteful and extremely demonic, attempting to commit suicide to escape it all. He was rescued by a rebel Yokai named Ramganas, who took care of him and treated him fairly. But Nadil's army had the power to turn him into a demonic cat, doing so to kill Ramganas, as well as Barl's wife. Gil has little recollection of the things he does or power to stop it. >>>He's not very close to his brother, Barl, but he is fond of his niece, Fiji. He loves Ramganas for having saved him from Nadil's army, and he's quite tormented that he had went so far as to kill those he cares about. Gil greatly adores Fire, whom he understands to be his Fighting Dragon, and a close companion to him when he is in need. He hates Nadil's army and Kharl for turning him into a demon and treating him like an animal for such a long time. Now >>>Gil has been revived out of Rath by Cesia, and he has decided to join in the fight to stop Nadil's army, taking his place as the true Fire Dragon Knight. He wants to be able to help Rath, whom he realizes is in grave danger. He feels that Rath saved him from being alone, and for that, he feels grateful and desires to help. He is beginning to wonder if the pleasant memories of Ramganas, as well as other happy memories, were merely things made up in his own mind. Currently >>>Gil has decided to go with Cesia and the rest to the Dragon Castle.
