Tails and dewclaws were done
this morning and I had a quick opportunity, when Chili took a run outside,
to grab pics and weights after I changed her puppy blankie. Although the
solo black female is still just barely
under a pound in weight, she has improved dramatically in activity level and
ability to nurse, and hang on when
larger siblings try to get her off the teat. Unfortunately, the smaller
red female is not doing as well and still
unable to nurse on her own. Her weight is still well below the comfort
level and it's hard to keep her temp
up to digest food. So I have pulled her off the list until we can get her
going again.
All the other pups are spoken for, except the one large blue male.
