Without a doubt, the Backgammon Champion title belt design was the stupidest concept I came up with. I didn't even have to print a sample to realize this project would never make it to mylar. Just look at it -- It's awful!

When I thought about it it sounded like a cool idea. Making a circular backgammon board on the main plate was imaginative and brilliant. Making the dice the centerpiece would emphasize the game's "luck factor." And making the background green-on-bronze distinguished it from the other belt designs. But when it all came together, the design just looked awful. I couldn't really put my finger on what was so disagreeable about the design... It was just awful. period.

This design is proof that not all ideas should be made into title belts.
