Thursday, September 12th
This was originally going to be the most relaxing day, it was overall but I didn't think I was going to be as busy as I was.

We woke up about 8:30 or 9 am.  Jo woke up before Brianna and I though, she had to go to the volunteer meeting.

10:30 AM (Pacific) - 1:30 PM (Eastern)
Gastown Shopping and the Old Spaghetti Factory
That same morning two people with cars pulled out so a lot of the people left had to ride in cabs instead.  Debra had a van and someone else going happened to have rented a car.  When QS asked who wanted to ride with them no one said anything!  I guess becuase the car could only hold two other people and there were groups of people bigger then two who wanted to ride together.  I spoke up for Brianna and I.  This way we didn't have to worry about spliting a cab fare two, three or even four ways!  Why wouldn't I want to ride with them?!
Gastown was nice, just like every other tourist shopping street.  The only picture I took was of the steam clock.  Lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory was good, considering I'm not much of an Italian food person.  I've been to the one in Toronto and had the lasagna, this time I stuck with chicken fingers and fries.  It was (with a C or K?  My mother spells it with a C so I went with that) Cathy's birthday so someone got the waiters to sing her happy birthday and gave her some ice cream with a candle in it.  After lunch Brianna and I stuck with the sisters and walked to China Town.  It wasn't quite as impressive as Gastown, and the walk there was a bit seedy.  After that little adventure we headed back to the car and went to Sav-On.  We figured that buying some food in bulk would save us money, so we wouldn't have to spend so much eating every meal at the Wayfaring Tree or the Thirsty Turtle or near by restaurants.  Finally we headed back to the hotel.  I had already registered that morning before Gastown so the rest of the day was eventless for me.  Jo and Brianna both had VIP passes so they took their time getting ready for the Cocktail Party later that evening, I believe it started at eight or so.  I just relaxed in the room, watched some TV and called home.  I wasn't exactly broken hearted for not being able to go, from what I heard I would have had a better time doing exactly what I did; chilling out in the room.  But that's just me.  Although, it would have been a good way to meet some other people from Gategoers.
