Max
Crossed the Rainbow Bridge
Sept 5/02
Max was a rescue and a very special boy that changed a lot of lives. Sally, from the Oklahoma Boston Terrier Rescue, found him in a local shelter (he was found wandering the streets) and "bailed" him out.
He was her very first rescue. She and Connie were "cyber friends" (Sally in OK and Connie in SD). Sally convinced Connie that this dog was meant for her and they met in Nebraska and Max went to live with Connie and Roger.
Sally came home and began her career of Boston Terrier Rescue....!!
Sally saved his life and Connie and Roger gave him four years of wonderful love and care.
This one dog made a difference.........he started Sally in rescue, and the end result of that is hundreds of saved boston terriers going to loving homes.
He was the beginning of rescues to come into the home of Connie and Roger.......because, after Max, they took in two more rescues and their BT family grew to 4.
In just 4 years Max made a DIFFERENCE......."thank you, Maxidoodle, we love you and we will miss you"........
A Prayer for Animals

Hear our humble prayer,
O God,
for our friends, the animals,
especially for those who are suffering;
for any that are lost or deserted
or frightened or hungry.

We entreat for them all
Thy mercy and pity,
and for those who deal with them,
we ask a heart of compassion
and gentle hands and kindly words.

Make us, ourselves,
to be true friends to animals
and so to share
the blessings
of the merciful.
