The Siren, by Jennifer (a.k.a. Lia Danuu O'Bran)

"Come with me, beneath the sea,"
So the mermaid beckoned.
A silken voice and comely face
Held more than he had reckoned.
Her arms were warm, her lips her cold
As he lay within her embrace.
As the waters rose above his head
His heart began to race.
Five fathoms down, his lungs afire,
He struggles to find some air.
'Neath coral high, he is drawn down
The mermaid kissed him there.
And with that kiss, she stole his breath
Another shall never he draw.
And with a smile, a loving grin
She shoved him down her maw.
