ANTITHESIS: RAGE

Quiet, oh weary dawn
quiet, oh shake and rattle of bones
quiet, oh whispers of the missing
quiet oh leafy silence

Quiet, oh broken highways
quiet, oh intimations of experience
quiet, oh hesitant wraiths
quiet, oh dawns whispers

Quiet, oh fleet of white birds
quiet, oh famous laments
quiet, oh broken glasses
quiet, oh passage of travelers

Quiet: oh speaking in whispers
quietly, as though to shun the flowers
that grow under thunder

Quiet: oh long-lasting songs
that beat at the door

But try to quiet my silence!
