Introduction

Justice can be considered in terms of qualities. Some qualities are official, some are moral, and some are both or neither, or one and not the other. For example, impatience might contribute to a crime (going through a red light, being negligent with children, or accidentally locking someone in a freezer).

People could be recommended for communities based on their moral temparament. In a place for impatient people, there is a priority on speed (how fast hot water changes, for example) because these poeple would just get angrier and angrier if those needs were not met. On the other hand, communities for poeple that are not as needy in terms of moral development would have resources free to develop themselves through creative activities, social reform, and collective dynamics. Those sorts of things would be accessible to those with a conception of community morality. One difficulty might be ensuring that everyone has equal security, and that those within a particular cohort do not overwhelm the other groups through their special advantages (the lustful, the clever, the gun-toting, etc.).

Intrinsic in this system is the capacity for deserving citizens to access information and culture befitting their abilities.

So someone with a need for water has a right to be officially impatient, even if it runs against her moral temperament. The trick is determining what someones needs actually are. In a society of diagnoses people tend to hold out in the belief that anything out of the ordinary is an unknown illness. More likely the individual is simply subject to a wider range of needs, which induce him or her to suffer physically or mentally if they are not met.

Admittedly this perspective wont bring about a cure for existing ailments but if it could be embraced by those in power, people could become less needy, particulary if some part of their lives seems just right.

A problem may arise when the clever people are told to live together... and there could be an amplification of commonly held beliefs...Could be good...
