A Yellow "Sand" Dragon
Dragons

Standard Dragons (Green, Brown, Orange and Red)
The basic types of dragon have very little differences between them except for color. Their physical, social, dietary and other traits are all remarkably the same. All fit the stereotypical "winged lizard" mold, including the power to breathe fire. They reside in mountains, but some have been reported in large caves or in dense forests.

Yellow Dragons (Sand Dragons)
Croppell's infamous Sand Dragons inhabit the Southern Sands of the kingdom, although they are far less common than many people believe. Instead of flying, the wingless Sand Dragons burrow underground.  Three to five Yellow Dragons usually inhabit each "nest."

White Dragons (Snow Dragons)
Snow Dragons are fur-covered and live in the Northern and Southern Arctics as well as on the coldest mountains. Their unusual scales also help to trap and store heat inside their bodies. They rarely breath fire, as to conserve energy.

Blue Dragons (Water Dragons)
Blue Dragons are capable of flight but they generally use their wings to steer while underwater. They are semi- aquatic and can be found basking on small islands far away from major shipping lanes.

Black Dragons (King Dragons)
Black Dragons are the rarest and most feared of all dragons. They are aggressive and territorial, even more so than any other dragon race. The presence of even a mountain goat will trigger a violent reaction from a Black Dragon, let alone a few humans or dwarves....
