Scrier

Classification:
Low-level non-living creation
Demonic creature

Other names:
"Scout"
"Lookout"

Description:
Scriers are noncombative beings designed with the simple task of observation. The body of a scrier is basically an eye two-meters in diameter. What resembles optic nerves come out from the back and underside of the body; it is believed that these are reponsible for allowing the creatures to fly.

Scriers are seen floating and bobbing over battlefields, relaying information to their Old Order masters who are hiding at a safe distance. While not crucial, as the wizards could chose to view the battle from the eyes of the other monsters under their control, a birds-eye-view makes commanding an army easier. The wizards will view the battle through the scrier's eye instead.

Scouting, spying and guarding operations also often involve scriers.

They are easily wounded and killed, although archers may want to save their arrows for more dangerous enemies.
