Eclectic Inspiration 2
Remember these five simple rules in life to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.

No one can go back and make a brand new start. Anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.

Life did not promise you days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun
without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

Disappointments are like road bumps, they slow you down a bit but you enjoy the smooth road afterwards. Just don't stay on the bumps too long. Move on!

When you feel down because you didn't get what you want, just sit tight and be happy, because something better is coming to you.

When something happens to you, good or bad, consider what it means.

There's a purpose to life's events, to teach you how to laugh more or not to
cry too hard.

You can't make someone love you, all you can do is be someone who can be loved, the rest is up to the person to realize your worth.

It's better to lose your pride to the one you love, than to lose the one you
love because of pride.

We spend too much time looking for the right person to love or finding fault with those we already love, when instead we should be perfecting the love we give.

Never abandon an old friend. You will never find one who can take their place. Friendship is like wine, it gets better as it grows older.
It is only a tiny rosebud,
A flower of the Goddess' design;
But I cannot unfold the petals
With these clumsy hands of mine.

The secret of unfolding flowers
Isn't known to such as I.
The Goddess opens this flower so sweetly,
While in my hands it would die.

If I cannot unfold a rosebud,
This flower of the Goddess' design,
Then how can I have the wisdom
To unfold this life of mine?

So I'll trust in Her to lead me
Every moment of my day.
I will ask her for Her guidance
Each step along the way.

For the path that lies before me,
Only my Goddess' wisdom knows.
I'll trust Her to unfold each moment,
Just as She unfolds the rose.

ser endip itous adj. ser endip itously adv. Word History: We are indebted to the English author Horace Walpole for the word serendipity, which he coined in one of the 3,000 or more letters on which his literary reputation primarily rests. In a letter of January 28, 1754, Walpole says that this discovery, indeed, is almost of that kind which I call Serendipity, a very expressive word. Walpole formed the word on an old name for Sri Lanka, Serendip. He explained that this name was part of the title of a silly fairy tale, called The Three Princes of Serendip: as their highnesses traveled, they were always making discoveries, by accidents and sagacity, of things which they were not in quest of....
