Sylvain Cossette

Leader of the English-speaking band Paradox for several years, Sylvain has now become one of the most popular singers in Quebec. His first French album Comme l'Océan was released in 1994. He sang a medley of the 10 most popular songs of the year at the "Gala de l'ADISQ" in 1994.

In August 1996, Sylvain wrote the lyrics, composed the music and sang for his second French album Blanc. In 1997, He was part of the Lara Fabian's Pure tour as a guest star. His rendition of "Que je t'aime" can be heard on his album Blanc. The single was on the top of the charts in Quebec for several weeks in 1998.

More than two years after his release, the album Blanc, with more than 125 000 copies sold, still remains in the top 20 of the best sales in Quebec and will soon be available in France on the Universal Music label.

During the last 4 years, Sylvain has been nominated 9 times at the "Gala des Félix" which is the musical awards ceremony for Quebec.

Sylvain Cossette took over Bruno Pelletier during the French tour of Notre-Dame de Paris in February 1999.
