Understudies

Nadia Bel as Esmeralda and Fleur-de-Lys Of Kabyle parents, Nadia who is 19 years old, was raised in Picardie, France. When she was 8-12, she was trained as a dancer, an opera singer and a synchronized swimmer. Then, she followed her father who was working on the sound system of various shows and she started to sing. In 1998, she joined the Alice Dona School. Four months later, she auditioned for Notre-Dame de Paris. Nadia is working on her first album.

Jérôme Collet as Quasimodo and Frollo Jérôme was born in Paris. Since 1993, he had been singing with the band "Bout Tortu's Band" (rythm and blues, rock, soul). He is working on an album for the Autumn 1999.

Roddy Julienne as Clopin Lyricist, composer and singer Roddy was born in Martinique. He performed in Mayflower and in the 1979 production of Starmania. He then joined French band Big Bazar and the cast of Moïse.  Other credits include a recording of fables by La Fontaine with music (rap, raggae, gospell), as well as the creation in 1996 of the band "L'Affaire La Fontaine". In 1997, he worked for French TV (France 3) as a host and a singer for the show "Où se cache Carmen San Diego". He has just composed the soudtrack of "Tôt ou Tard" by Anne-Marie Etienne which is due to be released in Spring 1999. Besides, for six years now, he has been writing songs for a French TV show for children ("Les Minikeums").

Damien Sargue as Gringoire and Phoebus Damien was born in 1981 in Caen, France. He started to sing when he was 8. In 1996, he won a song contest in Cannes. He is currently working on a single which is due to be released this year.
