Most people might remember Erik from one of Australia's most popular and successful bands, 1927, BUT from
7th December 2003, this date heralds a new era in the world of Erik Weideman, a man of many, many talents... Here is just a taste of what is to come in the future.
Erik has accumulated vast experiences in several aspects of the music industry over quite a number of years - as a singer, songwriter, musician... producing his own music... and working with many other musicians.
Erik does the very occasional casual intimate acoustic gigs, mainly around his home state of Queensland. Check out the live sounds at the venues listed on the Gigs Page. I will attempt to post what info I acquire.
There are plans in place for a limited independent release of some of Erik's own music.** In the meantime, you can taste a sample of some of his new songs recorded in recent times in this very site** also. So make sure your ears are turned on !!

If that isnt enough - Erik has also done extensive work in the art world in a wide range of fields - album covers, clothing design, various styles of painting and drawing on many different types of canvases... this is just to name a few. He is a very accomplished and sought after graphic artist.
