| First, make sure you have everything that you will need such as a long rope, a place from where you are going to suspend it (such as a tree branch, or a basketball hoop, two adults to hold the rope in each end, the pinata has to be previously filled with candies and toys. You will need a stick to hit it with and blindfolds or a vandana for the participants. |

| STEP ONE: |

| Before the party game starts you can have the pinata as a festive centerpiece. When you are ready to start then you can take it to hang in the designated open area. |
| STEP TWO: |
| Then line-up the kids in order from the smallest to the tallest. Children younger than 3yrs-old don't need to be blindfold. Older kids you blindfold them and give then 3 turns. For safety matters, make sure all other kids are away from the kid with the stick! Therefore, you need to keep 100% always close attention to make turns to hit the pinata. |
| STEP THREE: |

| For safety matters, make sure all other kids are away from the participant with the stick! When the participant is finish hitting is when another kid can approach the pinata, or if some toys have felt on the floor kids are not allowed to get them until the hitting is finished. |
| STEP FOUR: |
| Allow each child to hit several at least a couple of times. To make it more challenging the pinata must be swung up and down, and the other participants should misdirect the pinata hitter (if the pinata is down, tell him is up, etc). |
| STEP FIVE: |
| Don't forget to give each participant a bag so they can collect their candies and toys. You may also want to throw candies with your hands while the pinata is being hit to make sure all the kids are having fun. Pay attention so that at the end of the game all kids have gotten candies.
