Barrier Tower

 

 This isolated tower can be found at the Underground Lakes, but it’s impossible to enter from the outside. The only way to get in passes via the Portal at the Tower of Magi.
The coordinates to teleport in are ELL PIT ESK. There are two paths to get them:
  • Ask Mahdavi of the Triad about teleportation, then follow her instructions to meet Pyrn
  • Dispel any of the barriers surrounding the Barrier Tower, then search for runes in the wall and read them: one of them tells the coordinates. 
Once inside, you'll found Pyrn engaged in a mental battle with a disguised Haakai. Ask the wizard about teleportation, then search for the book the told you. There you'll find a special incantation to close portals. This ritual is a must if you want to destroy the Surface Portal, so make sure your party has learnt it before trying anything else in this place.
