Jeometry is a dynamic geometry applet which can
help maths teachers in their hard work with their students.
It's so simple that you don't need any explanation to use it, so
come on
PUSH that button !
October 2006. You can draw vectors and polygons now. Added a "Translation" item in the "Transform" menu. Some minor improvements. Please report any bug, thanks.
September 2006. Added a popup menu. Added "Transform" menu (though not completed yet). You can draw lines and circles even without having already drawn points.
July 2003. Some new choices have been added in the "Prove" menu, included a "user-defined thesis". Thanks to Nicolas Rosillo for the Spanish version.
August 2002. Jeometry has been restyled and some bugs have been fixed. Since this new version uses Java Swing package you must have a Swing-enabled browser or use Java Plug-in to run it successfully. To run the old version click here.
March 9th 1998. In this new
release it's also possible to "prove"*
"simple"** geometric theorems. The prover may take some
time to complete its task, so if the countdown indicator seems to
get stuck while proving, try and wait to check if it is due to
complexity.
Anyway, let
me know what theorem you tried to prove
and what went wrong.
* Actually, the prover can only confirm the truthfulness of a theorem, i.e. if the theorem is false it can't be unconfirmed.
** "simple" means "the algebraic variety difined by the hyphoteses is irreducible" which is often the case.
