Flora & Fauna

Plants

My mum's lovely money plant on our front porch.

Our very own papaya plant.

A close-up of one of my mum's beautiful Japanese roses.

Believe it or not, I found this little thing growing in a drain by one of my university's residential colleges.

A close-up of the trunk of a bougainvillea plant at home. Looks unnervingly like a human figure, doesn't it?

Little shop of horrors! This orchid (at the Genetics department) only flowers once in 20 years. It's been at this university for 40.

Animals

A quokka! A fluffy nocturnal animal that lives on pigface and other plants on Rottnest Island... and it is not a rat!
