: 18 years in the steel-making with Malayawata Steel Bhd, Malaysia's first  integrated Steel Mill, with a total of 4 moths training in Steel-making Technology in Japan. Also attended numerous Iron and Steel Symposia and Seminars in the region, and one in England in 1974.

Later worked 1-1/2 years with Anshin Steel Mill (Shah Alam); 3 years as General Manager of Interplex Trading Sdn Bhd (K.L.) serving the steel related industries and businesses; then as an industrialist in the field of Machining, Forging (hot and cold), Casting (of Metals), and the Manufacturing of Automotive components.

Currently providing Consultant Services to Manufacturers of Automotive and Engineering  OEM components and parts, and supplying specialised materials to them.
