Trainer: Essentially, the trainer constitutes three separate dresspheres. While they are similar, each character has their own unique job for the same dressphere. Each girl claims a cuddly little animal as her own. Yuna commands a weird dog named Kodaigo (Yojimbo's dog from FFX), Rikku has a monkey named Ghiki, and Paine has a hawk named Flurry. The trainer has fairly average stats, but their abilities make up for it.

Trainer Yuna's abilities:
  • Holy Kodaigo - Holy damage to one enemy.
  • Flame Kodaigo - Fire damage to one enemy.
  • Ice Kodaigo - Ice damage to one enemy.
  • Lightning Kodaigo - Lightning damage to one enemy.
  • Flood Kodaigo - Water damage to one enemy.
  • Kodaigo Cannon - Kills an enemy with a chance to fail.
  • Kodaigo Sentence - Inflicts death sentence status on one enemy.
  • Healing Kodaigo - Heals one ally.
  • Curing Kodaigo - Restores one ally's status effects.
  • Come! - Call animal friend to attack an enemy.
  • Half MP - Halves MP consumption. (auto ability)
  • HP Stroll - Restore HP while walking. (auto ability)
  • MP Stroll - Restore MP while walking. (auto ability)
  • Kodaigo lv.2 - Decreases Kodaigo preperation time by 50%. (auto ability)
  • Kodaigo lv.3 - Decreases Kodaigo preperation time by 50%. (auto ability)

Trainer Rikku's abilities:

  • Shrewd Ghiki - Damages an enemy and steals gil.
  • Blinding Ghiki - Damages an enemy and inflicts blindness status.
  • Silence Ghiki - Damages an enemy and inflicts silence status.
  • Looting Ghiki> - Damages one enemy while stealing an item.
  • Angering Ghiki - Damages an enemy and inflicts berserk status.
  • Teasing Ghiki - Damages an enemy and delays their next turn.
  • Cheering Ghiki - Heals one ally.
  • Healing Ghiki - Restores one ally's status effects.
  • Helpful Ghiki - Raises an ally's attack and defense.
  • Come! - Calls an animal friend to damage an enemy.
  • Half MP - Halves MP consumption. (auto ability)
  • HP Stroll - Restore HP while walking. (auto ability)

  • Flurry Guard - Heals one ally and casts protect.
  • Flurry Haste - Heals one ally and casts haste.
  • Flurry Shield - Heals one ally and casts shell.
  • Flurry Heal - Heals all allies.
  • Flurry Recover - Restores one ally's status effects.
