Our Work

Today, the group CARPE DIEM has 15 participants. During our encounters, we worked with the book Sofia's World, of the Norwegian philosopher Jostein Gaarder. That because this wonderful book bill, in an easy and attractive way, the history of the western philosophy, presenting to us the great philosophers of the world and its thoughts. Thus, for each encounter, a member of CARPE DIEM reads a part of the book, determined by the group, and it counts to the other present people in the meeting. In that way, everybody is knowing about the subject of the book and, starting from the theme of the book or of the questions that the same does, several discussions and debates appear during the meetings, and all we tried to seek the best possible answers! Besides, we also debated the philosophers' thoughts and we give our opinions, we say what thought. (you don't know as it is pleasant to participate in a group as that!!!)
