What's Philosophy?

Who am I?
Why am I here?
How did the world begin?
Does a God exist?

If you already made yourself an or more of those questions, it is on the way to becoming a philosopher. Philosopher is the person that thinks on the world and it is questioned on him.

And Philosophy, what is?

The word " Philosophy " means love for the wisdom, of the Greek philos (friend or lover) and sophia (wisdom or knowledge). THE Philosophy begins when we didn't take more the things as right, we questioned as the things they are. For Plato (428 - 354 B.C.), one of the old philosophers that lived there are more than two thousand years, the philosophy is fruit of the man's capacity of admiring with the things.

A history that explains to us well the meaning of the philosophy and on what it is to be a philosopher it is counted in the book Sofia's World, of Jostein Gaarder. In that history, the author compares the Universe to a removed white rabbit of a hat for a magician, and us, human beings, he compares with microscopic animals that lived in the hair of the rabbit. Thus, the babies and the children are born in the points of the hair of the rabbit, but, as they grow, they are going being slipped by the hair and, when those children were already adult, they were already in the skin of the animal. As this place is very hot and soft, these people finish accommodating in this place and there they are for the rest of its lives. The explanation of this history is already the following: The babies and the children when they are born they are extremely curious, they pay attention in everything, they really repair everything that surrounds them, and, that, they are in the points of the hair of the rabbit. As these children are going growing, they are going stopping of admiring with the world that surrounds them, they are going being habituated " with everything, they are going leaving the curiosity sideways. Thus, they are already slipping in the hair in direction its base. When they become adult, them no longer they have more curiosity none on the world, they think everything that happens is normal, that nothing is different, anything it gets the attention, that is to say, they make comfortable with the minimum of necessary information. These people are already in the skin of the rabbit and there they made comfortable and he/she doesn't have perspective none of leaving of that place. The philosophers are those that don't want to make comfortable in the rabbit's skin, they question the world the whole life, they look for respontas for its questions, because they love the knowledge. Thus, the philosophers are those that leave the skin of the rabbit and they climb its hair, to arrive until the points of the same, for like this to look at for the whole universe and, mainly, to try to look at in the great magician's eyes that it removed the rabbit of the hat!!!
