Three Short Plays

Too Close for Comfort

Lydia and her boyfriend Marcus rehearse the murder of Theo, Lydia's husband, which they are to commit that evening. When the victim and 'perfect witness' arrive all goes according to plan except that Marcus kills Lydia. A ghastly mistake - or are there some deviations from the original plot? In reality Marcus is Theo's boyfriend and Lydia the intended victim all along.

Three Chairs

Joe and Sally plan to steal some fur coats from party guests to finance a holiday. Sally falls for one guest, Nigel, who in turn pursues Sally, believing her to be an heiress. Nigel's girlfriend Alice arrives and it would appear that they too have designs on the furs. Joe determines to finish the job alone, but finds an unexpected accomplice in Alice. 

A Night Out

Ted is engaged to Peggy, but before taking the final step, he insists on vetting his future mother-in-law. To his pleasant surprise, Peggy's widowed mother Jean is a very attractive woman, so attractive that Ted breaks his engagement to the daughter to marry the mother. Jean is happy until her mother arrives on the scene....
