A peace within, that is what I feel.
It is from God and I know it is real.

A calm during life's hectic race,
keeping me in a serene, practical place.

A place where I know my God is in control.
A place that exists within and calms my soul.

No need to worry over my eventual fate.
I accepted salvation before 'twas too late.

I learned of the truth of how much God loved me,
and how He desired my presence for eternity.

I was touched by a love so deep and true,
and did exactly what God wanted me to.

I believed and received the gift of life,
and with it came relief from strife.

I've learned to surrender to God's will every day,
and God leads me as to what to do and say.

I lean on Him when ever I have a need,
not having to crawl, beg or plead.

God provides just as He promised He would,
and it is He in me that does any good.

God, not I, that is in control.
An assurance I need not worry about my soul.

A peace within which is available to you too,
and accepting it for yourself is all that you do.
