I have a personal relationship with God above.
It all began with His great love.

I asked Him to lead me from my old sinful way,
and He daily keeps me from going astray.

I gave Him my heart and all it contains,
and He removed all the bad memories, aches and pains.

He filled me with love, deep and sincere,
and is constantly reminding me He is here.

I now have a Comforter so I never feel alone,
and to remind me that Jesus' death my sins did atone.

I've a Teacher to enlighten where there is a need,
so that through this life I may proceed.

I can go to the Father any time, day or night,
and no matter what's wrong, He'll make it right.

Our relationship grows closer day by day,
as we get together when I kneel and pray.

A personal relationship is what God desires with you too,
and accepting His offer is all that you do.
