Heavenly Father please allow us to be governed by the right man,
the one who comprehends your Master plan.
Help us to know You are in control,
and that our leaders' submission is completely whole.

Give us the discernment to make the right choice,
since we can't believe all that they boastfully voice.
Help us to remember that no matter what they say,
what matters most is their surrender to You each day.

We know You have us each in the palm of Your hand,
and when the time is right we'll all understand
Give us enough faith to carry us through,
so we can do our very best as we serve You.
