Shandy has been the backbone of the team throughout the season whether it was for batting, enthusiasm or example.  His love for cricket is demonstrated in his desire to find a wife who shares the same passion.  Leading by example as captain, he was always the guy firing everyone else up when things weren�t going well in the field.  He will be remembered for all his diving saves as keeper due to the huge number of wides bowled throughout the season from a quality bowling attack (we won�t mention the wide statistics).

He performed particularly well under pressure with the bat, showing his ability to hang around in tough conditions.  Whenever we were in trouble he always produced something special with the bat, especially both of the 2day finals.  
He kept the team together throughout the season and without him, the love tapping would have gone too far.
