You may have heard of the mysterious wild ponies of Chincoteague and Assateague Islands. The stories of these islands have been enshrined forever in the tales told by author Marguerite Henry. It's safe to say that none of her books have become more well-known or well-loved than her book of the little palomino paint pony called Misty.
