I ended up changing the top mounted rear caliper to a bottom mount caliper. It shows off the  disc and blends in with the upgrade braking system.
The old GS 1000 Caliper just looked old and the bottom mounted caliper looks alot better.
The mastercylinder is high mounted and hidden behind the right side cover. The Reservoir is mounted in the back of the battery box. Both really clean up the rear braking stystem. The seat pan is a Harley LePera pan that has been modified to fit the XS. The seat foam is off a Virago 920 and has been shaved for a clean look.
The seat has been upholstered and the gauge assembly has been painted. It has the old rear GS 1000 caliper in this picture.
Instead of using a boring chain guard, I came up with a Sprocket guard. It encloses the sprocket and keeps lube from slinging on my back when I ride.
