An orb of nothing expands
Surrounding me in soundlessness
As my mind shuffles through my thoughts
And begins to focus...

My memory of happiness
Of pain confused with it's opposite
She only brought me hurt
But I loved her for it...

Everytime my heart clenched
My love grew
Like a weed throughout my heart
Working its way through my brain...

I was blind to her trickery
The deceit in her eyes
Her false smile
I loved it all...

She brought me love
She promised me a future
She sold me lies
She gave me hope...

And then she left...

And I sit in silence...
